The folks at Donalson Auto Group’s Toyota store care about more than just selling great cars. It’s the people behind the wheel that we truly care about, and that passion for helping people extends beyond the vehicles that get us there. Donalson’s efforts to give back to our community are comprised of our dealership being frequently involved in several charitable activities where we help sponsor local organizations.

  • The Hardin County Angels is a non-profit organization that helps children with medical needs in Hardin County. Donalson Auto Group installs and displays Hardin County Angel Trees directly into their stores. These Christmas trees “grow” donations for underprivileged kids/foster/orphan kids by displaying a card containing Christmas present wishes, such as clothing, school supplies, and the like. Donalson Auto Group will be sure to have trees with Angel Kids cards at Donalson CDJR and Silsbee Toyota dealerships for the community to independently ‘pull cards’ to donate an item. Additionally, Donalson Auto Group has committed to donating to Hardin County Angels for every single customer who buys a vehicle during the Angel Trees event.
  • Donalson Auto is proud to hold a food drive at their stores in preparation for each holiday season in sponsorship of the Silsbee Food Pantry.
  • Donalson Auto Group also does some fun work warming up the holidays in conjunction with Camp Hope: a United States veterans organization out of Houston. This worthy fundraiser allows Donalson dealer principal and owner/managers to attend a dinner and bourbon tasting ceremony, raising money for Camp Hope in the first half of November to kick off the holiday season right with giving.
  • Donalson Auto has been involved in Save the Pines Project for the past two years. The Pines is a “locally famous” movie theater that was damaged by hurricanes and unfortunately closed. Donalson Auto Group has sponsored events (movie nights, etc.) to fundraise for this community event. They’ve done a Halloween Movie Night and a Polar Express Movie Night on Dec. 11th, 2021. Additionally,  Ben Burla, sales at Silsbee Toyota, participates in a telethon fundraiser for the nostalgic Save the Pines effort on the last Tuesday of every November.
  • Donalson Auto also sponsors the Hardin County Youth Project
  • Hogs and Strings Music Festival is another fun fundraiser that Donalson Auto participates in annually. This cultural event is a musical Cook-off benefiting Indian Springs Camp for disabled veterans and children. Indian Springs Camp is a 501 c/3 nonprofit organization that hosts disabled veterans and children, allowing access to the outdoors through hunting, fishing, and camping.

It is a joy for Donalson Auto Group to give back to the people of Texas and to those in need. To learn about specific non-profit and community organizations that our firm is involved with, you can email us to discuss our community involvement and how you may be able to get involved, too.
